If you’ve been on the fence about PS Vita, the decision may have just gotten a bit easier. Today Sony announced a price reduction to $199 in North America for the WiFi version of the Vita. The 3G version appears to be the same old $299 price, but who would want that anyway when you can just tether your iPhone?
This announcement was made at the same event which finally brought us a specific release date for PS4. Interestingly, I pre-ordered a “Day One Edition” PS4 the moment it was available, and checked 2 day delivery with Prime membership, but now Amazon has updated with a delivery date of November 19th, 4 days AFTER “Day One”. We will see in time if this is a typo, or if “Day One” pre-orders will actually be arriving at customers’ homes 4 days late this November.
