Tim Cook will be joining D11 as the opening speaker once again this year.
The Apple CEO made his first appearance since taking the reigns at Apple at last year’s D10. Things have certainly changed in the last 12 months, with Apple’s stock in free fall, intensified competition, and a dirth of exciting new products of late. The conference is always fascinating for those interested in where the tech world is headed. This year’s conference promises to be stellar, with many of tech’s most influential heavy hitters scheduled to speak.
From All Things D:
Cook joins a long list of stellar speakers slated to appear onstage at D11 from May 28 to 30, including Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Motorola Mobility’s Dennis Woodside, Pinterest’s Ben Silbermann, Jeff Immelt of GE, new Android chief Sundar Pichai, Sony’s Kaz Hirai, ABC’s Anne Sweeney and more.
We will be doing a post game podcast after Tim Cook’s talk to parse his words and make our predictions as to what’s next in the world of Apple. So check back here May 28th for all the latest.
